Teens deal with a huge range of complex self-esteem issues, many of which become apparent during school years. Research has shown that negative body image and low self-esteem have a significant impact on concentration levels as well as participation in class which in turn affects attendance, grades and overall performance.

Coach D’s inspirational 12-session “Rise & Shine” workshop can help youth of all ages master the 4 core ingredients to achieve a stronger self-esteem. His workshop is designed to help build positive body image and the mental confidence to deal with the road blocks that prohibit them from fulfilling their optimal potential. Each session is bursting with surprising facts, activity sheets, games, exercises, lesson plans and videos.  All of which is conducted in a respectful, fun and engaging learning environment.

Afro-urban fitness

All fitness classes delivered by Coach D are filled with dynamic rhythms from the Caribbean and Africa. He will teach/show you a groove that allows you to better connect with your body, while having lots of fun. This unique fusion of energetic tempo and full body workout will leave you feeling energized and rejuvenated. Great music and a good workout is a perfect combination to release stress, boost self-esteem, improve your health and enhance your overall well-being. -Urban Spin

Set in a bright room to high-energy music, all riders move in unison, as a pack, to afro-house beats while following the signature choreography of Coach D. The experience is phenomenal and fun for all levels of riders. With every stroke of the pedal while feeling the music’s vibrations you will be able to clear your mind and connect with your inner strength that will allow you to push yourself to higher levels.


-Afro-urban Bodybar

For beginner and intermediate levels -  using the Body Bar, this class will sculpt and tone your muscles.  Coach D uses focused/isolated exercises which will give you a total body and strength-building workout. At the same time, you will be able to escape into another world while listening to the Afro rhythms pumping hard throughout this class. Afro-urban Bodybar is a fantastic class specifically designed to help you increase your cardiovascular fitness and provide the perfect strength training experience.


-Afro-urban resistance

Resistance bands are made of strong, thin rubber with handles at the end, and come in a variety of resistance levels. They are what Coach D calls multitasking portable fitness tools. If weights are not your forte, perhaps resistance bands could be! Pumping iron is great but resistance training is awesome when mixed which specific guided music. Resistance bands can be used for a comprehensive, full-body workout that challenges virtually every major muscle group in your body.

I’m unbreakable” program with Coach D

Bullying is defined as the repeated actions or threats of action directed toward a person by one or more people who have or are perceived to have more power or status than their target in order to cause fear, distress or harm.


Cyber-bullying on the other hand, is the intentional and repeated mistreatment of others through the use of technology, such as computers, tablets, cell phones and other electronic devices.


Studies show that over 22% of students in high school report feeling unsafe at school. Nearly 30% have been physically harassed and 18.3% assaulted. However, 64% percent of children who are bullied don’t report it!


Can you imagine that every single day thousands of teens wake up afraid to go to school? Bullying is a problem that affects millions of students, and has everyone worried.  The consequences are terrible; academic performance is often compromised, and students who are subjected to abusive behaviours are at higher risk for depression.


Parents, teachers, and other adults don't always see it or may not understand how extreme bullying can get. The good news is that most harm caused by bullying is preventable! School-based bullying prevention programs such as Coach D’s “I’m Unbreakable” can decrease bullying by up to 25%.


Coach D will help youth acquire the 8 teen power skills against bullying and cyberbullying. His “I’m Unbreakable” program will teach them to;


1- Act with assertiveness, calmness, respectfulness and confidence.

2- Develop and/or maintain a positive attitude.

3- Set boundaries about disrespectful or unsafe behavior.

4- Not be afraid to talk

5- Protect themselves from verbal abuse

6- Speak up, put their foot down

7- Be persistent, reach out for help when needed

8- Build a shield for cyber attacks
